Brian is Founder and President of
MATSDA and the author of many publications(including Discover
English, Materials Development in Language Learning and Developing
Materials for Language Learning). He has presented in forty
countries and worked in Nigeria, Zambia, Vanuatu, Indonesia,
Japan and Singapore.
Dave is Director of NILE, the Norwich Institute
for Language Education, a Fellow of the School of Education
and Professional Development at the University of East Anglia
and a consultant for the British Council and the Council of
Europe. For 9 years co-ordinator of the IATEFL TEASIG, and an
author for OUP, Dave has run courses and seminars for teachers
in over 40 countries. He is a passionate, lifelong supporter
of Sunderland AFC.
Hitomi is a founding member and Secretary
of MATSDA. Her publications include 7 coursebooks, journal articles
(e.g. ELTJ, MET), book chapters (e.g. Developing Materials for
Language Teaching, Continuum) and books (e.g. RELC). Her main
interests are neural language learning, materials and teacher
development.
Jo is an ELT lecturer in the School for Languages
at Leeds Metropolitan University. She coordinates the International
Foundation Studies programme and is part of the materials writing
team, currently involved with projects in Ethiopia and Singapore.
